Music Schedule
This year there
will be music two venues on the Rec field.
There
will not be music at the gazebo
Music at Stage 1
10:00a.m.
Silver and Gold- Louise Parker
of Moose Hill and Laurence (Put) Pare of Livermore
have been entertaining together for 10 years. Two
years ago, Maurice Beaule of Leeds joined them.
They entertain year-round in this area, as well
as Rumford and Farmington. Their programs include
old country music, jigs & reels,
and favorites of the '50's.
11:00a.m.
Paul Bright has been singing
since he was 5 years old. Since his first public
performance in second grade, he has appeared on
Boston television, numerous lounges in the greater
Boston area. He has performed special concerts
for the University of Massachusetts, Eastern College
Placement Officers, The Norlands, and many social
and philanthropic groups. Recently, he has preformed
yearly in the Myrtle Beach SC. area, Ontario, Canada
and in Maine. Paul loves to sing and offers a variety
of pop, standard, country, folk and Christian music.
Though self taught, Paul is considered, by some,
to be an excellent finger-style rhythm guitarist.
Since his retirement from Maine State Service,
Paul has performed regularly at the Wayne Community
Church and other local events.

Bill Giasson played with
a number of rock and roll, and country bands, before
forming the band "Luke" in 1982. In
1985, he joined the band "Silver Wings",
and played with them off and on until 1994. His
trademark was 7 bags of hats and wigs that earned
him the moniker "The Hat Man." Dan
Pelletier started playing the guitar
in his early teens and was part of a band called "The
Relatives", and played with Diane and the
Three D's, before joining Silver Wings in 1983.
In 1994, Dan and Bill started their our own band,
the Rockin' Country Misfitz and stayed together
until 2002. During their careers they have
won numerous music awards. Dan and Bill
have continued to work together since the breakup
of the band, mostly working small venues in the
Lewiston-Auburn area.
1:00p.m.
Barry Wood has played most every
state in New England over the past 58 years. His
roots are in country, but he also plays soft rock,
jazz and the old standards. Barry has won numerous
awards from the Down East and the Maine Country
Music Associations, the Maine State House and Senate,
and the North American Country Music Association,
International in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He has
also played at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York
with Les Paul.
2:00p.m.
Lolalee & the Country Bandits' members include
Lolalee Dillingham, Dick Moreau, George DeWitt,
Arthur Benedetto, and Larry Wright. They reside
in South Paris, Lewiston, Jay and Livermore Falls.
This group of musicians has been together for 3
years, but a senior member has been planning since
the '40's. They play a wide variety of music including
old & new country, big band sounds, rock & roll,
Cajun and Blue Grass.
Music at Stage 2

Jan Gill & Friends- Jan Gill
is a graduate of the prestigious University of
Maine at Augusta's music program with a B.S. in
music performance, majoring in piano. She teaches
music for grades K-5 at Livermore Elementary School.
A music entertainer and teacher in the Livermore
area for over 35 years, she will be entertaining
along with many of her students at the Apple
Pumpkin Festival. There will be a segment of sing-a-longs
and performances from several of her students.

Native Oak has been playing
together since 1995 and specializes in songs of
great harmony; songs of the 50s to 80s that include
rock, jazz, bluegrass, country, folk, accapella
and instrumentals, as well as some original works.
From the Farmington area, Native Oak members include
Bill Colwell, lead singer and mandolin, Randy Gauvin,
guitar player and harmony singer and Paul Soucie,
on bass guitar and harmony.
12:30p.m.
The Melodears formed in high
school and graduated in 1955. After a hiatus of
50 years, three of the original group decided to
start singing together and included classmate Dianne
Richard. The group now consists of Diane Berry,
Rae Perrault, Patty Doiron & Dianne Richard.
They sing mostly songs of the 50s and are much
loved in the community.
2:00p.m.
Emerson & Thoreau is an
up and coming band from Portland, whose members
joined forces as of January 2009. Each member has
years of experience with other bands. A recent
demo is available on their myspace page and contains
all original songs. The genre of the band is folk/rock
and members are: Caleb Orion - lead vocals and
acoustic guitar; Nick Perry - electric guitar bass
and vocals; Greg Fusillo - drums and vocals.
