Speaker- ELLEN THORNE..
My name is Ellen Thorne I live in Jay and I am a Certified Health Education Specialist, and I have a BS in Health Education and a Master of Public Health degree. I work as a Program and Planning Coordinator at Healthy Community Coalition where I work on obesity and tobacco prevention initiatives and as an Adjunct Instructor at UMF where I teach nutrition classes along with stress management.
My presentation is on some of the signs and symptoms you can experience in the body from stress along with commonly used coping mechanisms and tools and resources for preventing and dealing with stress.
