APPLE PUMPKIN FESTIVAL
SAT.,SEPTEMBER 28TH
Your family, friends and neighbors will be gathering on September 28th from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. on the Livermore Falls Recreation Fields to celebrate Fall in the Central Androscoggin River Valley. Sponsored by the Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce, the 2013 Apple Pumpkin Festival will feature a variety of vendors and craft artisans, agricultural products, historical and educational displays, seasonal decorations, antique tractors, raffles and plenty of food all day long! There will be local musicians entertaining throughout the day - many of your favorites are returning again this year. Also returning, is the infamous Tiger Slide, as well as the Bounce House, and Climbing Wall! NEW this year-- Twister and Lazer Tag!!
Community events will include:
- Book Giveaway at Treat Memorial Library - 56 Main Street, Livermore Falls 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.
- Maine’s Paper and Heritage Museum Tours - 22 Church Street, Livermore Falls Follow the papermaking industry through two centuries.
- Harvest Supper hosted by the St. Rose Senior High Youth Ministry. Supper will be held at the Parish Hall, menu to consist of ham with pineapple sauce, or turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cornbread, cabbage, carrots, rolls and drinks. Apple pie with vanilla ice cream, pumpkin pie with real whipped cream or fruit cup. Adults $10., 12 and under $5., and under 5 free.
