After breakfast, chamber members will hear updates about Norlands' Raise the Barn project and be treated to a fun, first-person living history program on temperance presented by Willi Irish, Norlands' director of interpretation and training.
“Aunt Clara Howard” will divulge all the many reasons why she believes Neal Dow’s 1851 Maine Law is vital to our town. The tippling houses and grog shops have been shut down and we must fight to keep them closed. Practice your penmanship as you you will be persuaded to sign the pledge as well as a petition – with a quill pen of course!
